




Over the past decades the Club has been honoured with numerous local and international awards - in facts the number has now topped the 100 mark. This includes awards won by the Club itself, honours won by individual staff, and awards given to projects supported by Club funding.
Among the most frequent recipients of awards are the Club's Human Resources and Training Department, which reflects the organisation's determination to be a rewarding and socially responsible employer, and the Membership Services Division, whose catering team have scooped various prizes in local and international competitions. The sophisticated IT services developed by the Club to meet its customers' continuous demand for innovative, fast and secure betting services have also been the subject of several awards, as have the Club's Corporate Marketing and Public Affairs initiatives and even its Treasury services.
The Club has also won accolades for its overall leadership, most notably in the 2006 Directors of the Year awards at which the whole Board of Stewards was jointly named Directors of the Year, while the Club's CEO was honoured as Executive Director of the Year. This followed hot on the heels of the award for Corporate Social Responsibility in Hong Kong's annual Best Practice Management Awards, an honour recognising the Club's efforts in launching and operating authorised football betting in a socially responsible manner.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club is very proud that its efforts to be a caring and customer-centric organisation have been so widely recognised at home and overseas, with many of the accolades coming from organisations or publications that are themselves highly-regarded in their respective industries.
