The Longines Masters of Hong Kong and The Asia Horse Week, originally taking place on 13 – 16 February at the AsiaWorld-Expo will not take place; EEM, the organiser of the events announced. The decision is a precautionary measure following the recent developments in the 2019-nCoV Coronavirus outbreak which is currently affecting Hong Kong, Mainland China and across the APAC region. Members of the public and delegates who have already booked tickets will be reimbursed. This eighth edition of the Longines Masters of Hong Kong, one of the world’s most acclaimed five-star equestrian events and often regarded as the Grand Slam Indoor of Show Jumping, will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo from 14-16 February 2020. Continuously featuring the HKJC Trophy, HKJC Race of the Riders, HKJC Asian Challenge, HKJC Asian Junior Challenge and HKJC Asian Junior Grand Prix, these competitions will be an important opportunity for riders around the world to showcase their skills as part of an international competition.
With support from the Club as Founding Partner, the third edition of the Asia Horse Week will be held alongside the Longines Masters of Hong Kong from 13 to 15 February. Bringing together representatives from leading equestrian federations, regional horse clubs, and leading professionals in the equine industry, Asia Horse Week provides an essential forum for sharing equestrian development in the region.
