Resumption of HKJC Horse Shows from September 2022

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is delighted to announce the resumption of horse shows starting from September for the season 2022/2023. To minimize any risk of pandemic infection to the equestrian community, the following measures to ensure safe running of the horse shows have been introduced.

Pandemic Measures on the Show Venue

• All visitors (competitors and connections) to the horse show will have to strictly follow the Conditions of Entry to Club Premises and are required to present their Vaccine Pass QR codes for inspection and scanning before entering any Club premises, which includes the government’s vaccine pass requirement detailing the “Blue Code” for admission.
• All visitors will have their temperature checked on entry to the venue. Any person with a temperature above 37.5 degrees will not be allowed entry.
• Each competitor may have only one supporter (limited to a parent / guardian for U18, groom or coach.)
• All groups to be a maximum of four people and will maintain 1.5 meters distance from others.
• Competitors and their connection will have to leave immediately after completing their competition.
• No spectators are allowed.
• Catering kiosk and seating area will remain closed, there will not be any food or drink served at the show venue.
• Everyone must wear a mask at all times with the exception of a competitor who is riding.
