Responsible Sports Wagering & Mark Six Lottery Services

Responsible Sports Wagering

The Club provides wagering services, via its subsidiaries, on horse racing and football. Most wagering on horse racing is pari-mutuel whilst football wagering is fixed odds. In response to public demand, and also to combat illegal operators, the Club regularly reviews and updates its wagering products and systems. Indeed it is considered a pioneer in its development and use of technology.

Mark Six Lottery

The Mark Six Lottery is a 6-out-of-49 lottery game with seven prize levels. Mark Six draws are normally held three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and either Saturday or Sunday.

The Mark Six also contributes directly to the community, both through duty to the HKSAR Government and through the Lotteries Fund. Established in 1976, over the last 50 years the Mark Six has contributed more than HK$55 billion in lottery duty and over HK$30 billion to the Lotteries Fund, supporting more than 25,000 projects.

Channels

The Club provides a variety of wagering channels - at racecourses, through a network of 83 Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), including six Experience Shops, and through telephone, online and mobile services. All of these have strict access controls in line with the Club’s Responsible Gambling Policy.
