The Hong Kong Jockey Club is pleased to announce the launch of its new “GoalX” mobile app, providing information on football matches, live statistics, betting, live game watching and a personalised journey all in a single application. “GoalX” offers a brand-new digital experience for customers* to enjoy betting on football matches.

Mr Richard Cheung, Executive Director, Customer and International Business Development, said: “GoalX is the new addition to our suite of customer digital experience platforms. It aims to address unmet customer needs in the current Classic 3-in-1 app in terms of rich and live football information, easier to make transactions as well as biometric login, eWallet and funds transfer in one application.”

Highlights of the “GoalX” mobile app include:

·         All-round match information: including teams’ head-to-head records, recent form, lineups, live odds and live statistics
·         Live game watching: customers can log in to account and enjoy free live-streaming of selected matches
·         Animated livecast: display of lineups, scores, match statistics, goal alerts, pitch action and commentaries, all in real time
·         Personalised journey: 1. Add your “favourite team” to create a personalised following list; 2. Subscribe to your “favourite matches” to receive live team information, including goals, kick-offs and final results alerts; 3. Auto display “Matches you may also like” for recommendations via AI
·         New and simplified betting user interface that automatically displays availability of all up combinations and expected dividends
·         Full service suite: customers can log in via biometric authentication, enjoy HKJC eWallet function and make instant funds transfer via HKJC FPS service
