inspires with world-class performances

Brought to Hong Kong by the Club to celebrate its 130th Anniversary, CAVALIA is a grand theatrical production internationally known for its innovative mix of equestrian and performing arts, multimedia and special effects. Showcasing the inspiring and unique bond between horses and humans, CAVALIA proved to be so popular with the people of Hong Kong that its run, which began on 31 March, was extended from 10 to 27 May.

To encourage a wider enjoyment of the show, the Club provided exclusive ticket discounts to the public and collaborated with the CAVALIA team on a series of community outreach programmes. It also hosted a Gala Evening on 10 April for 2,000 guests – including government officials, community partners, stakeholders and staff – as a gesture of appreciation for riding high together with the Club towards a better future. Behind the scenes, the Club's world-class veterinary and transport teams provided all-around care and support to CAVALIA's horses, from arrival to departure.

Matinee performances and behind-the-scene tours

The Club hosted a total of seven matinee performances for 14,000 students and the less privileged under CAVALIA's Big Top at Central Harbourfront. Watching the incredible display of horsemanship inspired them to re-think the boundaries of what is possible in their own lives. Behind-the-scene tours were organised for the less privileged to give them a glimpse into the training, care and preparation that the show's horses receive.

Youth Learning Sessions

Always supportive of educational endeavours and the arts, the Club arranged for students from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts to learn what it takes to be the best from talented CAVALIA performers.
