Develops the physical, mental and social capabilities of young people and fosters an attitude of excellence
The aim of the Jockey Club Youth Football Academy Summit is to provide young local footballers and coaches with a platform to help them excel. To achieve this goal, participating teams undergo training together. This year, through exchanging views and adopting new routines, they learnt to build up critical thinking skills and embrace new perspectives as they accepted new challenges and moved as one towards the same goal.
Likewise, local coaches benefited from seminars at which the Manchester United Academy coaches shared their professional football training knowledge and experience. Through a series of fun classes and workshops, coaches from different regions were able to engage in mutual exchange to improve their coaching standards, after which they were able to bring the knowledge they had acquired back to their respective communities to help more teens put their best foot forward.
