HKJC N-League

Develops the physical, mental and social capabilities of young people and fosters an attitude of excellence

HKJC N-League

From 2015-20, The Hong Kong Jockey Club had partnered with Wofoo Social Enterprise, the North District Association and the Hong Kong Football Association in presenting the HKJC N-League, a competitive women’s football league for North District secondary schools. Not only does the N-League provide more opportunities for girls who are passionate about football to interact and play games, but it also brings women’s football into the community.

As the first school-level local women’s football league in Hong Kong, the HKJC N-League features many unique elements, such as a home-away double round-robin system and allowing graduated students and junior players to play as external assistants. This is so that women football players can show their potential on a well-equipped professional platform, as well as meet players from other schools and develop their physical, social and mental capabilities. Football is not only a men’s game!

For years now, the HKJC N-League has been promoting women’s football within the community. Recently, the league has attracted participants from outside North District, which proves that N-League has successfully spread its influence to other communities and is a solid foundation from which to popularise women’s football.
