Academy Summit

Develops the physical, mental and social capabilities of young people and fosters an attitude of excellence

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is a long-time supporter of football development in Hong Kong. In 2017, the Club joined the Hong Kong Football Association and Manchester United Football Club in launching the Jockey Club Youth Football Academy Summit. Attended by young footballers from different areas, the Summit provides a platform that offers opportunities to learn, exchange views, and understand cultural differences.

In 2018, the Manchester United Academy U16 team once again visited Hong Kong, and was joined for the first time by the Guangdong U17 team in the tournament. Leading up to the tournament, the Hong Kong District All-Stars team and the HKFA Academy U17 team joined the young Red Devils in a series of trainings, friendly tournaments, and community services and activities. These helped them to grow physically, mentally and socially, while exemplifying the Club’s core values of continuous development and serving the community.

Learn Together

The JC Youth Football Academy Summit offers workshops to the multinational squads to learn about all sorts of non-football skills that help them to put their best foot forward.
